WAYNE MARSHALL, PE
Chief Executive Officer
Wayne Marshall serves as the chief executive officer of Petra Energy Holdings, as well as managing director at Barnabas Investment Group, and was formerly a principal at Petra Engineering, PLLC. Mr. Marshall’s responsibilities include providing strategic leadership and managing the firms’ overall operations and resources.
KIZZIE BROWN, MBA
Chief Financial + Investment Officer
Ms. Brown is responsible for the overall financial management and growth of the company, including analyzing existing and new investment opportunities, setting and executing capitalization and banking strategy, and directing all financial plans and accounting practices of the company Ms. Brown has 25 years of experience in financial services spanning both corporate investment banking and financial operations in new or emerging growth companies. In her various CFO roles, she has provided financing strategy and operations services in various industries with expertise in real estate finance. Ms. Brown earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s in business administration from Howard University.
GREG PETERSON, PE
Mr. Peterson has more than 30 years of experience in developing and implementing energy efficiency, cogeneration, and renewable projects for industrial, commercial, governmental, and institutional clients in North America. Previously, he has led a $40,000,000 per year commodity management business unit. He supports all business initiatives of the company including strategic client project development. Mr. Peterson’s construction and cogeneration and energy efficiency experience includes nearly four decades of experience at both Duke Energy and IBM.
TIM HOLDER, MBA
As SVP of development, Mr. Holder’s efforts are focused on the growth and development strategies for hep Petra. As a former EnergyUnited electrical cooperative executive, Mr. Holder’s background covers two decades in the electric utility and energy industry with emphasis on strategic planning, emerging technology, economic development, marketing, sales, communications, governmental affairs, renewable energy and customer service. Mr. Holder earned a master’s in business administration with a concentration in energy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
As SVP of operations, Mr. Turner brings expansive knowledge of steel racking for utility-scale and commercial solar projects, as well as experience utilizing raw materials and innovative design to enhance supply chain and product development. As the director of engineering at DCE Solar, he managed all research and development efforts to create industry-leading racking products and take DCE from inception to a multi-million dollar company. Mr. Turner received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
